Overview:

The aim of this course is to teach the working principles for experienced personnel in different and dangerous working areas and to raise awareness. Personnel participating in training will acquire basic information such as the risks of working at height, legal regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use / inspection / maintenance, risk analysis.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will gain both theoretical and practical skills about fall arrest, positioning, fall prevention systems. In addition, user-friendly tools to perform simple rescue scenarios and emergency escape applications. During the training, practice is focused on and solutions are produced for different scenarios encountered in the field.

Condition:

Medical report for work in heavy and dangerous environment, tendency to work at height.

Who Should Attend:

  • Personnel working in heavy and dangerous industry

  • Access vehicles such as moving platforms, scaffolding, cranes, carts

  • Personnel working connected to fixed points such as anchors

  • Personnel working using horizontal or vertical lines of life

  • Personnel that may encounter simple rescue situations

  • Principles of working at height (fall arrest, work restraint / leash, work positioning)

  • Basic legislation

  • Risk assessment

  • PPE control

  • Using Lanyard

  • Anchor point selection

  • Using fixed life lines

  • Setting up and using a temporary horizontal and vertical life line

  • Emergency planning

  • Rescue of casualty accessible with simple equipment
